Who is Farmgirl?

Hello! My name is Brenda and as the name suggests, I was born, raised and now reside on our family farm. Memories and traditions are very important to me and my life.

When I filmed my first wedding I was crouched in a closet alongside church supplies trying to capture my friends’ special day in a unique way. Several years later some of my former students asked me to film their wedding ceremony. Many years and many film projects later, Farmgirl Films was born.

I’ve always had a fascination with crafting a story through film. Whether it is a wedding, promotional video or documenting history, there is a story to be told. I’m eager to uncover it and mold it into something to be shared for generations.

This business has given me opportunities to work with some incredible people, including those that film with me. As a teacher it is neat to be able to tie this business in with my teaching career. Nearly everyone I employ is a friend or former student and I love working with them!
